“Nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come.”
Victor Hugo.
Here we stand firmly planted in a time of transformation. And we move forward as embraced by intersectional feminism. That is the topic we give a voice to.
In collaboration with the Chicago-based SheWolf Sacred community, writer June Reedy Jameson has teamed up with photographer Philamonjaro to create a series of female-focused artist-features. Our narrative is on their creativity, craft, diverse views, vision, healing and what inspires them.
The community was born from, and inspired by the 90’s celebrated book Women Who Run With the Wolves, Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D. A New York Times Bestseller.
SheWolf Sacred’s mission creates movements to embody and energize intersectional feminism for marginalized people through healing arts rituals.
Over the last nine months, June and Phil have interviewed eighteen artists exploring their views and understanding of the world. While photographing them in environments that tells their story and inspires them.
We propose to submit an on-going, by-monthly feature article spotlighting a different artist on your website to launch on March 8, 2021: International Women’s Day.
This year’s theme is Choose to Challenge. The debut feature will be an aspirational overview of the theme.
Each subsequent feature will share the insights of an individual artist, who walks amongst us as professionals, practitioners, performers, healers, business women, and more. While also having an extraordinary artistic expression that deeply taps into our ancient humanity and archetypes.
If interested, we are eager to learn your requirements for freelance submission.
